Data Test Analyst

The Role

Due to continued growth, we are currently looking for a hands-on Data Tester to join our London based team, working on an exciting project with a prestigious client in the insurance sector. The Test Analyst will have good working knowledge of PowerBI, SQL Data Migrations / Analytics / ETL / Data Warehousing.

Key Skills / Responsibilities:

●      Solid experience of testing in data-driven environments utilising advanced SQL skills – data manipulation

●      Strong testing experience with PowerBI

●      Good knowledge in ETL testing and validating multiple Source databases to target data warehouse tables

●      Experience/Exposure and technical understanding of Data Warehousing terminology

●      Solid working knowledge of Agile & Waterfall methodologies and associated test practices

●      Excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills

●      Excellent communication skills

●      Experienced self-starter who is happy to work independently

●      Strong analytical and reporting skills

●      Functional test experience across system, system integration, end-to-end and user acceptance testing

●      Experience using the Eclipse platform desirable (specialist insurance platform)

●      Experience in the Insurance domain and use of terminology is highly useful

●      Previous experience working for a consultancy or managed service provider would be beneficial
